Issue with email manager - Mail2 Error: Failed to Connect to Mail Server

We have reports that few of our clients are unable to manage their email manager and getting the error message: “Mail2 Error: Failed to connect to mail server - Failed executing GETFORWARDING.” Our engineering team has been engaged and is investigating the issue.
